DUTCH ALMOND COOKIES
1 cup shortening
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup ground blanched almonds
Cream shortening with white and brown sugar. Add 2 eggs and work in the
